The PCB Blog Schedule
Here's what I am hoping to do each week and also, what should I call this thing?
[Note: This post has been and will continue to be updated.]
I am deeply gratified and somewhat surprised by the interest in this blog. The times in my life when I have maintained a consistent daily writing target have been the happiest, professionally. My hope is that this community we build here will create a virtuous loop that reinforces those good habits.
Here’s my proposed schedule for writing. I aim to post each business day, planned programmatically so that readers can select what they like to follow or not as best suits their interests.
Monday: Link Day
What I am reading, with links and brief commentary. This will be finance and banking heavy, but will include more too. Please post in the comments if you see something in the far-flung corners of the web that might be of interest. Engaging with readers is a major motivation for this blog.
Tuesday: Business School Day.
Discussions about Wharton, MBA education, academia, business ethics - the pedagogical part of my job. I love being a business professor and know that there is a lot of curiosity around the world about what business professors do, especially relative to the other parts of the academy I know well (legal academia and history, primarily).
Wednesday: Banking Day
Longer post on a specific banking/central banking topic. I am also planning a few serial posts for Wednesdays in the coming months on the epistemologies of risk management in finance and banking and how those models might apply to the burgeoning field of AI risk management. (This series will be co-authored with my colleague Kevin Werbach).
Thursday - Sunday: Floating personal post
Something personal about weightlifting, music, parenting, Mormonism, non-finance books I read, triathlons, guitars, and whatever else might occur to me.
